Study: More than half of pets overweight

LEOMA, Tenn., June 18 (UPI) -- A Tennessee man says he doesn't think he'll ever be able to forgive the person who shot nine pet farm animals on his property.
Paul Davis of Leoma told authorities he returned home Monday to discover two donkeys, two horses, a bull and a Shetland pony slain on his 300-acre farm, WSMV-TV in Nashville reported.
"(The pony) was shot once above its nostrils and another one right above his eyes," Davis said.
He said he is clueless about the reason someone would kill his pets because he doesn't have any foes.
"I just hope God forgives them. I don't think I can," he said.
Lawrence County Sheriff Kenny Taylor said the killings have left him frustrated because he has no idea is responsible.
