Man gets 10 years for bizarre homicide

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- A 34-year-old Pittsburgh man was sentenced to 10-years in prison Monday for cutting another man in half when his vehicle hit a utility pole at 55 mph.

Keith Johnson Jr. was sentenced for severing the body of a drug dealer hanging partway out the window after attempting to drive away from a crack deal without paying, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

Antoine Williams died of blood loss Feb. 19 after he was literally cut in half when the car hit the utility pole. tje report said.

Common Pleas Judge John Zottola imposed the 10-year prison sentence after finding Johnson guilty on homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter and other offenses.
