Carter, 44, his 17-year-old son and Waller, 42, left John Lennon Airport at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Carter's wife called police when he failed to arrive home and a search began early Wednesday.

Later in the day, police announced the wreckage had been found in a wooded area in Cambridgeshire, not far from Carter's home.
