PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, March 1 (UPI) -- At least eight people were killed in a shipwreck off the coast of Haiti that has left more than 40 others missing, Haitian radio reported Thursday.
Two people were found dead off the coast of northern Haiti, officials said. The ship reportedly sunk when a fire broke out about 35 miles offshore.

The sail-powered boat was discovered Wednesday with just two survivors onboard.
