Spy poison shows up in second man

LONDON, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- An Italian man who met a former Russian spy the day he allegedly was poisoned has tested positive for radiation, a report says.

The Health Protection Agency confirmed Mario Scaramella was found to have isotope Polonium-210 in his body, the same poison believed to have killed former agent Alexander Litvinenko, Sky News said. The two had met at a sushi restaurant in London shortly before Litvinenko fell ill.

Friends of the former spy accuse the Kremlin of being behind the poisoning -- an accusation denied by Moscow.
