The younger two were charged in Hennepin County Juvenile Court. County Attorney Amy Klobuchar said she has filed a motion to certify the two juveniles for prosecution as adults.

Minneapolis police are still seeking a fourth suspect.

Chalbi had a cut on an arm consistent with a sword slash, and Khalil was missing a finger and had a cut on his abdomen, officials said.

Four suspects knocked on the door of the apartment and pointed a gun at one of the victims, police said. Both victims were ordered to the floor, but they got up and disarmed the person holding the gun and a second suspect who had found a sword and begun threatening the victims, the newspaper said.
