MOSCOW, March 2 (UPI) -- Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev Thursday celebrated his 75th birthday at a modest Moscow party with relatives and friends.
Gorbachev told Itar-Tass so many people were sending him good wishes, he had to change his cell phone number.

Gorbachev's party was booked at a Moscow restaurant. He invited former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, former German foreign minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher, former U.S. President George H.W. Bush and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, among others. No word yet on who actually showed up.
