Saudi King Fahd out of hospital soon

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, May 31 (UPI) -- Saudi Defense Minister Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz said Tuesday Saudi King Fahd's health is improving continuously and he will be out of hospital soon.

"The health of His Majesty King Fahd is good and continuously improving," Sultan said, adding, "He will leave the hospital but the date has yet to be fixed by his doctors."

Fahd, 84 was admitted in hospital last week suffering from pneumonia and high fever. He suffered a major stroke in 1995 and since then his half-brother, Crown Prince Abdullah, has been the de-facto ruler of the oil-rich kingdom.
