Fourteen people were named in a 29-count federal indictment, which alleged a drug distribution ring run by Lee Arthur Thompson engaged in racketeering, murder and crack cocaine distribution.
All but one of the people named in the indictment were arrested Tuesday, KMGH-TV, Denver, reported Wednesday. Another 21 people were swept up in secondary arrests and will face state charges.
In addition to the arrests, agents said they recovered $20,218.56 in cash, 422 grams of cocaine, two grams of methamphetamine, 198 grams of marijuana, 10 grams of Oxycodon, one gram of Ecstasy, and two 9 mm handguns.
The one suspect not apprehended Tuesday, William Gladney, also was being sought in connection with a 2003 incident in which a neighbor was mauled and killed by pit bull dogs Gladney allegedly owned.
