LOS ANGELES, July 14 (UPI) -- Salt Lake City software engineer Ken Jennings added to his "Jeopardy" winnings Wednesday, piling up another $17,500 for a 31-day total of $1,022,460.
Jennings has yet to break the one-day winnings record of $52,000 although he has tied it twice.

Jennings topped copywriter Darcy Smith of New York, whose great great-aunt was Grandma Moses, and attorney Greg Narver of Seattle, who won $601 and $8,400, respectively.
Jennings went into the final round with $17,200 and wagered $300 on the answer: "For his role in writing this 1861 document, Thomas Cobb of Georgia has been compared to James Madison."
Both Jennings and Narver came up with the correct question: "What is the Confederate Constitution?"
