LONDON, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- A 14-year-old London schoolgirl who had been missing since last week has been reunited with her mother, the Daily Mail reported Monday.
Police in Scotland said Stacey Champ was found several hundred miles away, sleeping in a car with David Milner, described as a 46-year-old friend of the family.

Police escorted the teenager back to London where she was met by her mother at Gatwick Airport.
The girl's mother, Angela, said Milner was just someone she had worked with who became a close friend.
The girl's disappearance sparked a nationwide hunt that generated more than 3,000 tips to police.
