States dubious of FERC's power plan

LOS ANGELES, July 31 (UPI) -- Utility regulators from 15 states voiced skepticism Wednesday about the overhaul of the nation's electricity grid that was proposed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The state regulators meeting in Oregon said the FERC plan was "intrusive" and would not take local market characteristics into account.
