Traficant expelled

WASHINGTON, July 24 (UPI) -- The House late Wednesday night voted 420-1 to expel Rep. James Traficant, D-Ohio, from Congress following his conviction this spring on 10 counts of racketeering, bribery and tax evasion. Traficant becomes only the second member expelled since the Civil War. He said the government framed him.
