Traficant warned not to vote in House

WASHINGTON, April 16 (UPI) -- Although he remains free pending sentencing and his appeal, recently convicted Rep. James Traficant, D-Ohio, was warned by colleagues this week not to vote in the House until his legal situation is settled. Traficant was convicted on ten counts of bribery, corruption and racketeering and faces a maximum of 63 years in jail.
