Phillyvoice.com first reported Hicks injured his hand Thursday while exiting a pool during the honeymoon trip. He reportedly sent a video of his hand to team doctors to take a look.

Hicks got married earlier this week, posting a photo on Instagram and writing: "Words cannot describe this moment. I finally get to call @ivanakaryhn my wife. Thanks to all the family and friends who made this day so special!"

The 25-year-old Hicks, who was selected by the Eagles in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Texas, owns 135 tackles, two sacks, seven interceptions, one forced fumble, four fumble recoveries and 14 pass breakups in 24 career games, including starting all 16 games last season.
