Pittsburgh Steelers assistant coach to plead guilty to disorderly conduct

Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebackers coach Joey Porter will plead guilty to a disorderly conduct citation issued to him after his arrest in January, attorney Robert Del Greco Jr. told NFL.com Tuesday morning.

Porter, 39, is expected to make his plea at Allegheny Magisterial District Court in Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon.

The former Steelers linebacker was arrested Jan. 9 after grabbing a police officer's wrists after he was denied entrance to a Pittsburgh bar by a bouncer. He was arrested on four charges but only charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Porter could face a suspension or other discipline from the NFL under the league's Personal Conduct Policy, according to ProFootballTalk.
