The Jacksonville Jaguars placed tight end Julius Thomas and defensive end Jared Odrick on injured reserve Saturday, ending their seasons.

Thomas injured his back against the Detroit Lions on Nov. 20 and sat out Jacksonville's last two games. The 27-year-old started the season with a flourish when he caught nine passes for 135 yards and a touchdown in the first two games before finishing with 30 receptions for 281 yards and four scores.

Odrick was plagued by hip and shoulder injuries while playing in just six games this season. The 28th overall pick of the 2010 draft, Odrick hasn't played since injuring a shoulder against the Lions and finished with 12 tackles and one sack in 2016.

Running back Bronson Hill was called up from the practice squad and offensive lineman Luke Bowanko was activated from the physically unable to perform list by the Jaguars (2-10), who host Minnesota (6-6) on Sunday.
