DENVER, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib, who missed Sunday's loss to the Oakland Raiders because of a back injury, could be out unit Week 12, according to Troy Renck.

The Denver Broncos star is due $8.5 million this season, plus $500,000 in per-game roster bonuses.

Talib flew to California last Thursday to get a second opinion on his lower back. He is the Pro Football Focus 'top-ranked coverage corner.

Talib, 30, also sat out in Week 8 against the San Diego Chargers. Bradley Roby has been starting in his place.

He shot himself in the leg in June. Talib has three interceptions, with one going for a score, and 20 tackles in seven games this season.
