OKLAHOMA CITY, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Center Enes Kanter remains in Oklahoma City, despite the Thunder's efforts to trade him.

Now Kanter is showing his team colors on Twitter and how elated he is that Russell Westbrook is staying with the Thunder.

Westbrook agreed to a three-year, $85 million extension Thursday to stay in Oklahoma City.

Kanter made a Photoshop edit to Kevin Durant's post from when he left the Thunder for the Golden State Warriors. Durant's July post read: "My Next Chapter." In Kanter's edit, Westbrook's face replaces Durant's and the guard says: "I Ain't Leavin'." Kanter included the caption: "I ain't gonna join the enemy. Here I come."

Kanter made another post with "Crying Jordan" sitting at a computer in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey. In the caption, Kanter wrote: "Stop refreshing the page lol. It's true."

Lakers fans held optimism for retaining Westbrook had he became a free agent next summer.

Kanter has played for the Thunder since 2014. He averaged 12.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game in 2015.
