Russell Wilson marries Ciara in England

LIVERPOOL, England, July 7 (UPI) -- Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson tied the knot with singer Ciara Wednesday.

The couple each posted photos of their big day on Instagram.

Wilson's photo had a caption reading: "We are the Wilson's."

The couple wed in Peckforton Castle in Liverpool, England. About 100 guests attended the wedding, according to reports. They were engaged in March.

"She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one. No Greater feeling...," Wilson said after the engagement.

The 27-year-old gunslinger spoke about his then girlfriend last year in San Diego at the Rock Church.

"She's everything you could ever want, honestly," Wilson said, according to ESPN. "Funny thing is, I told somebody that that's the girl I wanted to be with before I ever met her. I told somebody, 'I'm probably going to end up with Ciara.'"

Wilson signed a five-year, $89.1 million contract last season. He is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and a one-time Super Bowl champion.
