May 16 (UPI) -- Many fans know about the toasted grasshoppers available at Safeco Field in Seattle, Wash., but not many fans have chugged a beer with 20 of the insects floating inside. Until now.
One woman was up for the challenge on Wednesday, during the sixth inning of the Seattle Mariners' game against the Texas Rangers.
Broadcaster Elise Woodward took her microphone into the stands during the game to talk to some fans down at Edgar's Cantina. Woodward said she hasn't had one of the toasted insects yet. Several of the fans around dumped humble helpings of grasshoppers in their beers for an on-air stunt to see who could drink them up the fastest.
But the hero of the sequence was the woman who dumped an entire dish of the insects into her brew. She poured the lump of grasshoppers into her mouth before finishing the rest of her drink.
The Mariners began offering the bugs at the ball park last year. They offer the bugs seasoned with chile-lime salt.
Nothing to see here, just a woman dumping 20 toasted grasshoppers into her beer before promptly chugging it.
Yum.

Texas beat Seattle 5-1 on Wednesday. The Rangers were led at the plate by third baseman Isiah Kiner-Falefa, who went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a walk. Kyle Seager hit his eighth home run of the season for the Mariners.
