The Cleveland Indians placed right-hander Danny Salazar on the paternity list Monday.
Salazar, who made the American League All-Star team, has not won since July 19. He gave up two runs in 5 1/3 innings in a 2-1 loss to Texas on Sunday.

The 26-year-old Salazar is 11-6 with a 3.88 ERA in 23 starts over 127 2/3 innings this season.
Salazar was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a sore elbow on Aug. 2.
The Indians also recalled right-hander Shawn Armstrong from Triple-A Columbus.
Armstrong, 25, has spent most of the 2016 season in Columbus, going 3-1 with nine saves in 10 chances with a 1.84 ERA in 47 relief outings over 49 innings. The Triple-A All-Star has been with Cleveland three times previously in 2016, appearing in two games with a 3.00 ERA over three innings.
