The Philadelphia Eagles thinned their depth at wide receiver by releasing Rueben Randle and Chris Givens.
The two were facing an uphill climb to the make the roster after the Eagles acquired Dorial Green-Beckham from Tennessee on Aug. 16. Jordan Matthews serves as the top wideout for Philadelphia, with former first-round draft pick Nelson Agholor, Josh Huff and Green-Beckham also in line for catches.
