Defensive lineman Dion Jordan, who has been suspended three times by the NFL for performance-enhancing-drug violations, was cleared to practice with the Miami Dolphins on Monday, according to ESPN. Jordan, 26, had been suspended indefinitely since April 2015 without pay following a positive test of a reported diluted test sample, which is considered a positive test.

Jordan had arthroscopic knee surgery during his time away from the NFL, and his ongoing recovery kept him from practicing for a few weeks.
He was conditionally reinstated by the NFL in late July, and commissioner Roger Goodell said Jordan could attend training camp if he makes arrangements for treatment and complies with the terms of his reinstatement.
Miami traded two picks to the Oakland Raiders to make Jordan the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 draft. Jordan had 12.5 sacks and 86 tackles during his final two seasons with Oregon and appeared in all 16 games in his rookie season for Miami.
He had 26 tackles and two sacks as a rookie but was suspended for the first four games of the 2014 season for violating the league's PED policy.
Jordan then had two games added on in 2014 for a second violation and recorded 20 tackles in 10 games after returning.
A return does not necessarily guarantee increased playing time for Jordan, as Miami has veterans Cameron Wake and Mario Williams projected as starting defensive linemen.
