The Washington Redskins signed unrestricted free agent defensive end Kendall Reyes to a one-year contract Friday.
Terms were not disclosed, but the deal is worth $2.5 million and could rise to $3.35 million with incentives, according to ESPN.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Reyes, 26, is entering his fifth NFL season after originally being selected by the San Diego Chargers in the second round (49th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of the University of Connecticut.
Reyes led all San Diego defensive linemen in combined tackles (32) and quarterback hits (11) in 2015. He also had two sacks and an interception.
Reyes has appeared in 64 career regular-season games with 50 starts, compiling 126 tackles, 13.5 sacks, seven passes defensed and one interception for the Chargers from 2012-15. Reyes played in all 16 regular-season games in each of his four seasons with the Chargers and started at least 15 games in each of the last three years.
