What we learned about the Jets:

1. They clinched their first winning season since 2010 after winning their fourth straight game. New York is 9-5 and in position to be a wild-card team in the AFC.

2. Fourth-quarter deficits don' t seem to bother Ryan Fitzpatrick. For the second time in three weeks, the veteran quarterback rallied the Jets in the final period. Fitzpatrick led his team on two go-ahead scoring drives against Dallas. "I' m getting used to it," coach Todd Bowles said of Fitzpatrick' s late-game heroics. "He' s been doing it the last couple of weeks."

3. Special teams' mistakes need to be cleaned up, especially with New England on tap next week. Kicker Randy Bullock missed an extra point and field goal in the first half. Bullock had made a 40-yard field goal just before halftime, but a penalty nullified the kick. He would miss the 45-yarder on the next play.

Etc.

--RB Chris Ivory came into the game needing 86 rushing yards to reach 1,000 for the season. He was bottled up by Dallas, running for 37 yards on 13 carries. Ivory now needs 49 yards in two games for the first 1,000-season of his six-year career.

--QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 26 of 39 passes for 299 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. He also engineered his second fourth-quarter comeback in three games by leading the Jets to 10 points in the last period against Dallas. Fitzpatrick rallied the Jets back from a 10-point deficit against the Giants three weeks ago.

--K Randy Bullock made the game-winning field goal with 36 seconds left after missing an extra point (his third this season) and field goal earlier in the game. "That' s part of being a specialist," Bullock said. "You have to have a short memory."
