Terrelle Pryor is rejoining the Cleveland Browns as a wide receiver.

He played the position with the team throughout training camp after entering the NFL as a quarterback with the Oakland Raiders.

Pryor missed most of training camp with a pulled hamstring after making the conversion from quarterback. Coach Mike Pettine said in August that Pryor was turning heads.

He was waived on Sept. 10 and replaced by running back Robert Turbin.

Pryor could also serve as the emergency quarterback for the Browns.

Starter Josh McCown is likely to miss the rest of the season with a collarbone injury.
