Kuroda (5-5) shook off a leadoff homer to Jose Reyes to hold the Blue Jays to three runs while scattering eight hits and earn his first win since May 28.

Reyes had a big night in defeat, finishing 3-for-5 with two runs scored, while Melky Cabrera ended 2-for-4 with a two-run single for AL East leader Toronto.

Drew Hutchison (5-6) was handed the loss after permitting four runs in six innings of work.
