Marcin Gortat contributed a 19-point, 14-rebound double-double for the Wizards, while Bradley Beal also scored 19 and John Wall tallied 14 points with eight assists before fouling out in the extra session.

Dwight Gooden added 18 points off the bench for Washington, which had its two- game winning streak snapped.
