Lillard's hot hand helped the Trail Blazers tie the franchise record with 21 3-pointers in a game. Wesley Matthews added five shots from long range and Portland was 21-of-33 (63.6 percent) from beyond the arc in the game.
The effort tied the team record, set Dec. 14, for 3-pointers. Portland, which had 20 3s in a game earlier in the schedule, is the first NBA team to hit at least 20 3-pointers in a game in one season.
Portland scored at least 30 points in each quarter, with a 39-point first-period leaving the Trail Blazers ahead by 18 at the first break in sending the Bobcats off to a sixth consecutive loss.
Lillard finished with 24 points, one behind the team-leading 25 from Matthews. Four other players scored at last 10 points, including LaMarcus Aldridge who also had 15 rebounds and Mo Williams, who chipped in 10 assists.
Chris Douglas-Roberts paced Charlotte with 20 points.
