NFL: Denver 34, Oakland 14

OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Peyton Manning set the NFL single-season passing record with 266 yards Sunday and AFC West champion Denver Broncos rolled to a 34-14 win over Oakland.

Manning finished the 2013 regular season with 5,477 passing yards -- one better than Drew Brees' 2011 record with New Orleans. He gained the mark on a 5-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas with 13 seconds left in the first half.

The Broncos star finished with four TD passes, extending his NFL record to 55 on the season.

Denver (13-3), which wrapped up home-field advantage throughout AFC playoffs, surpassed the 2007 Patriots to break the NFL standard for most points scored in a season with 600.

Terrelle Pryor tossed for 207 yards with two TDs for the Raiders (4-12), who dropped a sixth straight to end their season.
