NBA: Miami 95, Cleveland 84

CLEVELAND, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- LeBron James punished his former team with a typically strong showing Wednesday in sending Miami to a 95-84 victory over Cleveland.

James scored 28 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists in what was the Heat's eighth straight victory. It was also the eighth consecutive win for Miami over Cleveland and the Heat hold an 11-1 record against the Cavaliers since James moved from Ohio to Florida.

Dwyane Wade added 22 points and Michael Beasley had 17 for Miami.

Dion Waiters had 24 points for Cleveland, which has lost four straight and seven out of eight.

Miami had a 10-point lead heading into the fourth quarter and that advantage slipped no lower than eight during the final 12 minutes.
