NHL: Ottawa 4, Detroit 2

DETROIT, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Clarke MacArthur put in a pair of goals Saturday and the Ottawa Senators sent Detroit to an eighth loss in a nine games, 4-2.

Bobby Ryan provided a goal and an assist as the Senators posted their first win in four contests.

Chris Neil also scored and Robin Lehner made 34 saves for Ottawa.

Darren Helm and Pavel Datsyuk each scored for the Red Wings, who had broken a seven-game skid with a victory over Carolina Thursday.

Jimmy Howard made 25 saves.
