NHL: New Jersey 2, Los Angeles 1 (OT)

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Jaromir Jagr scored a milestone goal 2:30 into overtime Thursday, carrying the New Jersey Devils over Los Angeles 2-1.

Jagr's ninth score of the season off assists from Marek Zidlicky and Dainius Zubrus was the 690th of his career, tying him with Mario Lemieux for ninth on the all-time NHL list.

It also tied him with Gordie Howe for most game-winning goals in league history with 121.

Ryan Carter also scored for the Devils, who won a second overtime game in two nights and third straight overall despite being outshot 35-15.

Cory Schneider stopped 34 shots for the victory.

Justin Williams scored and Ben Scrivens turned aside 13-of-15 shots for the Kings.
