VAIL, Colo., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Champion U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn suffered a partial tear to a knee ligament and is resting ahead of therapy and a decision on racing in the 2014 Olympics.
Vonn, 29, sustained a mild strain to her right knee and a partial tear to the anterior cruciate ligament of the same knee, the U.S. Ski Team said in a release Wednesday. Vonn was injured in a fall during training Tuesday at the U.S. Ski Team Speed Center at Copper Mountain, Colo.
