CHICAGO, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Patrick Sharp had two goals with an assist Sunday and Chicago bounced back from a one-sided loss in its previous game to spank San Jose 5-1.

Sharp's second goal on penalty shot with 1:11 left in the game capped a three-goal outburst in the third period that put the game away for Chicago, which was coming off a 7-2 Saturday rout at the hands of Nashville.

Kris Versteeg and Brandon Pirri each supplied a goal and an assist. Jonathan Toews also scored.

Corey Crawford stopped 23-of-24 shots as the Blackhawks improved to 14-3-4 on the season.

Joe Pavelski scored and Antti Niemi made 22 saves for the Sharks, who wrapped up a five-game road trip with a 3-1-1 mark.
