MONTREAL, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Cam Talbot turned aside 22 shots in his first NHL career shutout Saturday, backstopping the New York Rangers over struggling Montreal 1-0.

Talbot was busiest in the second period, when he stopped all 10 Canadiens attempts.

Ryan Callahan scored the game's only goal during a second-period power-play as New York snapped an eight-game losing streak in Montreal.

Carey Price made 33 saves as the Habs fell for the sixth time in eight games.
