NBA: Phoenix 101, New Orleans 94

PHOENIX, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Markieff Morris came off the bench to put in 23 points Sunday and the Phoenix Suns improved to 5-2 with a 101-94 victory over New Orleans.

Morris connected on 9-of-12 shots as the Suns moved to 4-0 on their home court.

Eric Bledsoe supplied 24 points and six assists as well as a key block on the Pelicans' Anthony Davis in the late going.

New Orleans got 22 points from Jason Smith with 22 points. Anthony Morrow and Jrue Holiday each added 16 for the Pelicans, who dropped a second straight.
