NHL: Minnesota 4, New Jersey 0

ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Josh Harding recorded his second shutout of the season Sunday, backstopping the Minnesota Wild over New Jersey 4-0.

Harding turned aside all 19 shots he saw in notching his ninth career whitewash. The Wild goaltender, who leads the NHL in both goals-against-average and save percentage, improved to 6-0-0 at home.

Mikael Granlund, Dany Heatley and Torrey Mitchell each scored, and Jason Pominville added an empty-netter and an assist for the Minnesota, which won for the fifth time in six games.

Nino Niederreiter provided three assists for the Wild.

Martin Brodeur allowed three goals on 19 shots for the Devils, who dropped a second straight.
