NHL: Chicago 5, Minnesota 1

ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Patrick Kane and Brandon Saad each had a goal and an assist Monday and the Chicago Blackhawks rolled to a 5-1 win over Minnesota.

Sheldon Brookbank, Nick Leddy and Patrick Sharp also scored while Brandon Pirri added a pair of assists for the Blackhawks, who avenged Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Wild and improved to 7-2-3.

Corey Crawford stopped 29-of-30 shots.

Jason Pominville scored and Niklas Backstrom allowed five goals on 28 shots for Minnesota, which had its three-game winning streak snapped.
