VIENNA, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Radek Stepanek battled Lukas Lacko for more than 2 1/2 hours before winning a third-set tiebreaker and advancing at the ATP's Erste Bank Open in Austria.
Stepanek, seeded No. 5, emerged the winner of a 7-6 (7-4), 5-7, 7-6 (7-5) match with Lacko that saw 250 points over 2 hours, 42 minutes. Stepanek had a break in each set but needed to win the third-set tiebreaker to get past Lacko.
