LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Adrian Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with two homers Wednesday and the Los Angeles Dodgers stayed alive in the NL Championship Series with a 6-4 win over St. Louis.
Gonzalez clubbed a 450-foot solo homer into the right-field bleachers in the third inning, putting the Dodgers ahead to stay at 3-2, and then added another bases-empty shot in the eighth to cap the Dodgers' scoring.
