PHOENIX, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers reduced their magic number to win the NL West to two by knocking off the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-3 Tuesday.

Juan Uribe and Adrian Gonzalez notched two-run homers for the Dodgers, and Matt Kemp went 4-for-4 with three RBI in his first game since coming off the disabled list.

Zach Grienke (15-3) won his seventh game in his last 10 starts, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out five in six innings.

Aaron Hill had a solo home run for the Diamondbacks, who had three-game winning streak until the powerhouse Dodgers hit town. Patrick Corbin (14-7) took the loss on six runs over seven hits in only two-plus innings.

Los Angeles scored four runs in the first inning on Kemp's two-run double and Uribe's 12th home run of the season. The Dodgers extended their lead to 8-0 before Arizona got on the board in the bottom of the fourth on a ground-ball RBI by Martin Prado.
