MLB: Los Angeles Angels 5, Kansas City 2

KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 26 (UPI) -- J.B. Shuck went 3-for-4 with two RBI Sunday, keying a seventh-inning rally that propelled the Los Angeles Angels to a 5-2 win and series sweep of Kansas City.

Trailing 2-0 in the seventh, the Angels started a rally when Josh Hamilton belted a leadoff homer against Royals starter Wade Davis.

Davis put Howie Kendrick and Chris Iannetta aboard with walks before Bruce Chen relieved and promptly surrendered a score-tying single to Shuck.

Manny Aybar followed with a go-ahead bloop into left and Shuck later added an insurance RBI as Los Angeles completed a four-game sweep of Kansas City with their eighth straight overall win.

Jerome Williams (4-1) earned the decision, allowing two runs on seven hits over six innings. He walked two and struck out four.

Ernesto Frieri picked up his 10th save to secure the Angels' triumph.

Davis (3-4) was saddled with the loss, yielding three runs on six hits over 6 1/3 innings.

David Lough got Kansas City's only RBI.
