Indiana dominated the second half, outscoring the Hawks by 16 points, pulling away thanks to a 50 percent shooting performance from the field and a steady parade to the foul line.

West hit 11-of-16 shots while scoring 24 points and George contributed 21 points on 7-of-8 shooting. The Pacers hit 25-of-39 free throws and outrebounded Atlanta 51-28. Indiana bounced back from two losses in Atlanta during which the Pacers had shot 27 and 38 percent.

Josh Smith and Al Horford scored 14 points each to lead the Hawks.
