PHILADELPHIA, April 20 (UPI) -- Lance Lynn tamed the Phillies on one hit over seven innings Saturday, staking the St. Louis Cardinals to a 5-0 victory over Philadelphia.
Lynn (3-0) yielded only a fifth-inning double to John Mayberry while striking out eight. The right-hander worked around three walks.

Carlos Beltran smacked a solo homer and Yadier Molina went 3-for-4 with an RBI single for the Cardinals, who took their second win in three games at Citizens Bank Park.
Phillies starter Cliff Lee (2-1) was saddled with his first loss of the season after allowing five runs on seven hits over five full frames.
