NBA: Denver 118, Phoenix 98

DENVER, April 17 (UPI) -- Wilson Chandler gave Denver a quick start Wednesday and the Nuggets wrapped up the No. 3 seed in the West with a 118-98 win over Phoenix.

Denver closed out the regular campaign with a 57-25 record, best in the NBA by a team that did not win its division. The Nuggets will enter the playoffs having won three in a row.

Chandler scored 21 points and Andre Iguodala had 20 for the Nuggets, who had a 15-point lead after one quarter and a 26-point cushion at the break.

Denver lost only three games at home all season, fewest in the NBA.

Luis Scola scored 17 points for the Suns, who had the worst record in the West with a 25-57 mark.
