TORONTO, April 17 (UPI) -- Jose Quintana teamed with two relievers on a six-hit shutout Wednesday, enabling the Chicago White Sox to coast to a 7-0 win over Toronto.
Quintana (1-0) allowed five of the hits and struck out seven over 6 2/3 innings. He has thrown 13 2/3 scoreless innings after struggling in his first start of the campaign.

Tyler Flowers got Chicago started with a three-run homer in the second and the White Sox went on to capture their second straight. Alex Rios added a solo shot in the sixth.
J.A. Happ (2-1) took the loss, surrendering five runs on six hits in 5 2/3. The Blue Jays have lost three of their last four.
