CHICAGO, April 16 (UPI) -- Andrew Shaw's ninth goal of the year broke a third-period tie Monday and ignited a big final frame that carried the Chicago Blackhawks over Dallas 5-2.
Niklas Hjalmarsson followed with another tally 1 1/2 minutes later and Marian Hossa iced the Blackhawks' sixth straight victory with an empty-netter.

Hossa added two assists while Jonathan Toews chipped in with a goal and a helper for top-seeded Chicago, which improved to 33-5-4 (70 points).
Ray Emery earned the win 16 saves.
Jamie Benn supplied both goals for Dallas, which remained two points out of the Western Conference's eighth and final post-season slot after falling for the first time in six contests.
Richard Bachman made 23 stops for the Stars.
