NBA: Dallas 117, Sacramento 108

SACRAMENTO, April 6 (UPI) -- A 25-point performance from Shawn Marion Friday and a strong second half brought Dallas a 117-108 victory over Sacramento.

The Mavericks kept their dwindling playoff hopes alive by pulling away over the final two periods while hitting 51 percent from the field.

Brandan Wright added 20 points for Dallas and Darren Collison scored 18. Dallas overcame an early nine-point deficit by outscoring the Kings 41-26 in the second period.

Isaiah Thomas led Sacramento with 29 points and Tyreke Evans had 16.

The Mavericks put the game away with a nine-point run in the fourth period, snapping a two-game skid.
